about

Nat Wendell appeared for the first time last year with the excellent Theoretics EP, and now he's back with a classy joint for Courtesy Of Balance.

"The Blues" rides on some addictive Lately bass and a tight set of drums, making great use of hypnotising synth flourishes to soften out the edges and make this the consummate modern deep house joint.

"No Sample" is a little more steadfast in its pace and propulsion, but there's still plenty of mellifluous melodic action to keep you locked in.

"Get Ready" rounds the EP off with more of the same - high grade house music imbued with soul but built for the floor.
